PEABODY — Lori A. (Walsh) Auld, 53, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning Aug. 24, 2016, at her home, while in the comforting presence of her family, after a short illness.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Janice A. (Pilling) Walsh of New Hampshire and the late William W. Walsh Sr. She grew up in Lynn, and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1981. She later studied at North Shore Community College. She moved to Peabody, where she lived for many years.
Lori was an office manager at Building Supply Outlet of Peabody for 21 years.
She was an avid fan and season ticket holder with the Boston Bruins. She loved traveling, camping and especially time spent with her nieces and nephews in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, especially North Conway.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Auld of Peabody, her longtime companion, Kevin Bailey, and his two sons, Scott and Paul Bailey of Peabody, a brother, William Walsh Jr., and his wife, Deborah, of Marlborough, two sisters, Cheryl Lavigne and her husband, Conrad, of Seabrook, N.H., and Catherine Bailey and her husband, William, of Peabody, and was a loving aunt to several nieces, nephews who were very special to her, and also several cousins. Besides her late father, William Walsh Sr., she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Walsh.
Service information: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her funeral service on Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at 10 a.m., in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
