DANVERS — Anthony “Tony” Sean Serino, 49, of Danvers, formerly of Lynn, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at his home.
Born in Lynn, Tony was the son of Edward A. and Susan (Kearney) Serino of Northwood, N.H., the beloved husband of 25 years of Kristina (Olsson) Serino, the loving and devoted father of Amy, Owen and Jared Serino, all of Danvers, the dear brother of Debra and her husband, James Stout of Danielson, Conn., Richard and his wife, Lucinda, of Northwood, and Lisa and her husband, Tony Verrico, of Peabody, the son-in-law of David Olsson and his late wife, Rosemarie (Saulnier) Olsson, of Lynn, and the brother-in-law of the late Richard Olsson, Robin Crowley and Brian Munsun of Lynn, Theresa Peterson and her late husband, Tom, and Michael Olsson and his wife, Tracy, all of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.
Tony graduated from Lynn Tech with the Class of 1985. Tony worked as a Program Manager at Akamai Technologies in Cambridge for many years and as a successful real estate broker on the North Shore for several years. He was a “crazy good” poker player and participated in several semi-pro tournaments. He was avid New England sports fanatic. Most of all, he enjoyed devoting his time to his three children and his entire family.
Service information: Tony’s funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Monday, Aug. 15, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, Aug. 14, from 1-5 p.m., in the funeral home.
