PEABODYMaria A. (Dagas) Mastoras, 79, of Peabody, died Monday at the Abbott House Nursing Home in Lynn after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Charles Mastoras.

She was born in Panagia, Greece, on March 11, 1937, the daughter of the late George and Joanne (Zamanis) Dagas and had resided in Peabody most of her life.

She had been employed at Duchess Footwear in Salem and later at the Richard Tanning Company prior to her retirement. St had been a member of St. Vasilios Church and enjoyed cooking her special meals for her family.

She and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending time seeing their relatives in Greece.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Mastoras, a son, George Mastoras and his companion, Ana Montano of Nahant, a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Kenny Michaud and her granddaughter, Elle Michaud, all of Swampscott, a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Eva Dugas of Peabody, a niece, Joanne Dagas Ortins and her husband, Anthony Ortins of Bradford, and two nephews, George Dagas of Nahant and Michael Dagas of Saugus, and two brothers and a sister all of Greece.

Service information: A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m., at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m., from the funeral home followed by services in St. Vasilios Greek Church, Peabody, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem.
