New Port Richey, Fla. — Bernadette A. (Cote) Plourde, age 89, died July 9, in New Port Richey, Fla., after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Alfonse and Eva Cote and the wife of the late Kenneth A. Plourde. She was educated in Manchester, N.H. She was a waitress-hostess for the Hawaiian Isle Restaurant in Plaistow, N.H., for 25 years before her retirement. She was formerly of Lynn, Sandown and Atkinson, N.H., Conyers, Ga., Lutz, Fla., and Guntown, Miss., and New Port Richey, Fla., where she passed away. Bernie was also an avid Red Sox fan.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Plourde and his wife, Patricia, of New Port Richey, Fla., and one daughter, Joyce Gasper and her husband, Joe, of Burlington and New Port Richey, Fla. Beloved grandmother of Joseph Gasper of Bedford and Scott Gasper of Westford, Sean Plourde of Victor, Idaho and Jason Plourde of Derry, N.H. She was the sister of Andrew Cote of Manchester, Mass., and the sister of the late Bernard Cote, Gerald, Cote, Marie Ann Adams, Marce lCote, Irene Plourde and Theresa Myers and several nieces and nephews.
