A report of suspicious activity at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported two kids in the new houses with flashlights. The two teens stated they work for a company. A man stated he was working on the house before but the work is now complete and there is no reason his employee and the kid’s friend should be inside the house. The teen told police that he was showing his friend a house that he was working on.
Fire
A report of an outside fire at 1:34 p.m. Wednesday on Bubier Road. A caller reported two kids in their 20s lit a fire behind the house, but near the house where he was working. He stated he scared them off, but his garden hose did not reach the fire. He reported the kids ran down the hill at Seaside Park. An officer reported a decent-sized fire that was knocked down.
A report of smoldering mulch at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on Elm Street. A man reported driving by and seeing flames in the mulch. He stomped them down but the fire wasn’t smoldered. An officer reported the area was soaked down.

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 1:21 p.m. Wednesday on Washington Street. Someone reported a book of checks was accidentally delivered to an old address in Michigan and someone used the checks.
