LYNN Carol Ann (Kitchin) Mosychuk, 80, of Beverly, formerly of Lynn and Salem, N.H., passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Carol was the daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret (Leary) Kitchin; the beloved wife of the late Carroll Mosychuk with whom she shared 53 years of marriage; the devoted and loving mother of Paul Mosychuk and Kristin Haskell, both of North Andover, and the late Thomas and Karen Mosychuk; the cherished and nurturing grandmother of Sarah Ann Bell and Thomas C. Mosychuk, Jr.; the dear sister of Jean Santorella and her husband, Joseph of Florida, and the late Alfred Kitchin, Jr. Carol is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Danvers, and raised in Middleton, Carol was a graduate of Danvers High School. Primarily a homemaker, she moved to Lynn with her husband and worked as an operator for New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. for several years. Carol enjoyed reading, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and was an avid Boston sports fan, especially of the Red Sox and Bruins. She was most happy spending time with her entire family and helping to raise her grandchildren, teaching them to cook and bake and letting them help tend to her flower, tomato and vegetable gardens.

Service information: Carol’s funeral will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 10 a.m. from the CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Lynn. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 5 from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
