Born in Lynn in 1930, Ginny was the fourth daughter born in five years. Known as the “Webster girls,” all four sisters graduated from Lynn English High School, Ginny in 1948. She married her high school sweetheart “Georgie” Cronin in 1953. After his sudden passing in 1975, Ginny worked as a secretary, retiring from STRIBE, a Lynn day program for developmentally challenged adults. She remained fiercely independent, feisty and fun-loving until recent months when dementia at last prevailed. She loved her family, gardening, the ocean and, most of all, dogs. In January, she moved to Peter Sanborn Place in Reading, where she made new friends and received loving care from their gifted staff. Ginny’s family will ever be grateful to the Sanborn community and would like to thank all the staff for their many kindness. Special thanks to Kim Manzelli, director of nursing; Director Jacqueline Carson; nurses Alison, Diane, Elizabeth and the many aides who made her final months happy.
