REVERE — Mrs. Nancy M. (Blaisdell) Dembro, age 78, of Revere, formerly of Lynn, died on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at Salem Hospital. She was the wife of Edward F. Dembro, with whom she shared 45 years.
Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Cecilia (Savard) Blaisdell.
Nancy retired from the City of Lynn, after 28 years of service as the assistant purchasing agent. She was a communicant of St. Pius V Parish and loved to travel to Foxwoods with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her large, loving, loud family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Robert Borders and his late wife Nancy of Beverly Robin Bourgeois and her husband Roger of Middleton, William Borders and his wife Eileen of Lynn, Barbara Sereda and her husband Ralph of Nahant, Brian Borders and his wife Lisa of Saugus, Beth Rigol and her fiancé Gino Spelta of Nahant, Steven Dembro and his wife Ellen of West Boylston and Denise Ford and her husband John of California; her grandchildren, Bobby, Sara, Shawna, Danny, Marc, Timothy, Shaun, Ryan, Aimee, Allie, Justin, Ashley, Jessica, Danielle, Lindsey, Kirsten, Jacob, Billy, Christian and Justin, her great grandchildren, Noah, Ethan, Camryn and Ryder; her siblings, Adeline Mullen, Joanne Riley, Patricia D’Angelo, Elaine McCormack, Annette Crowe, Janice Smerczynski, Edmund Blaisdell, Thomas Blaisdell and the late Claire Hunt, and many nieces and nephews.
Service information: Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 at 9 a.m. from the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Lynn. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
