MANCHESTER, N.H. — A second man was arrested in connection with the July shooting death of a Lynn man.
Edwin Flores, 24, of Lynn, was charged with the murder of 24-year-old Philip Russo. He was arraigned in a Manchester court on Monday, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s office. He will be arraigned in Lynn District Court at a later date.
Flores is the second man arrested for the shooting of Russo, who was living at Kingsley Terrace.
Michael Tate, 28, of Lynn, was arrested by Lynn Police earlier this month. He later pleaded not guilty to murder in Lynn District Court.
Police responded to the busy intersection at Chestnut and Union streets at 6 a.m. on July 11 to find Russo lying in the street. Officers launched a search for one, possibly two suspects. They focused the investigation on apartment buildings on Kingsley Terrace. Detectives determined Tate was at 2 Kingsley Terrace and executed a search warrant.
