LYNN

Arrests

Reynaldo Acevedo, of 22 Parkland Ave., was arrested on a warrant charge of operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 12:24 p.m. Thursday.

Patricia Flynn, 50, of 48 Winthrop Shore Drive, Winthrop, was arrested and charged on protective custody at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday.

Adam Hines, 36, of 4 Kyle Drive, Salem, was arrested and charged with operation with a revoked license as a habitual traffic offender, motor vehicle operator refuses to identify self, failure to stop/yield, speeding, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and improper operation of a motor vehicle at 1:17 p.m. Thursday.

Cassandra Little, 31, of Lagrange Terrace, was arrested and charged with destruction of property more than $250, larceny more than $250, breaking and entering daytime for a felony and receiving stolen property more than $250 at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Benjamin Morales-Castro, of 240 Chestnut St., was arrested on a warrant charge of operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 12:22 p.m. Thursday.

John Nicholson, of 44 Essex St., was arrested on a warrant at 10:52 a.m. Thursday.

Monica Rios, 47, of 224 Washington St., was arrested and charged with witness intimidation at 11:46 a.m. Thursday.

Ralph Viglione, 30, of 36 Whiting St., was arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking, drug possession to distribute, possession of a Class B drug and unlawful possession of ammo without a firearm identification card at 1:17 p.m. Thursday.

Fire

A report of trees on fire at 6:37 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maria Goretti at 119 Chestnut St. The fire department reported the brush fire was contained and knocked down.


MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a bike vs. car at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported he opened his door and the bike hit it. The caller wasn’t operating his motor vehicle, but was pakred and opened the door to get out when the bike hit it. An ambulance was giving the male cyclist a ride home.

Complaints

A report of a dumpster picked up early at 8:14 a.m. Wednesday on Lafayette Street. A woman reported the dumpster pick-up this morning was at 4:21 a.m. She related she has spoken to the nursing home administration three times regarding the early morning pick-ups. The administration told her they have no control over when the dumpster gets picked up. She will call each time they pick up the dumpster early in the morning.

A report of kids gathering daily at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday on Old Salem Road. A woman asked for extra patrols on the Forest River conservation property, reporting that for the past several months, car loads of kids have been arriving in the afternoon and going into the woods with backpacks. She said they sometimes park their cars and come back later.

A report of teens and an odor of marijuana at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday on Ocean Avenue. A called saying her daughter was walking the dog in the area of Castle Rock and she detected an odor of pot and saw a group of teens nearby. The young girl got scared and ran home with the dog. An officer checked the rock area, where the girl said the teens were, and found nothing.

Arrests

Paul D. Jackson, 57, of 34 Martinack Ave., was arrested and charged with OUI liquor second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and following too close at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at 14 Smidt Ave. and 8 Buxton St.; at 6:06 p.m. Wednesday at 378 Lynnfield St. and Bartholomew Street; at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday at Plum Tomatoes at 145 Summit St. A vehicle striking a building was reported. There was no damage to the building. Paul D. Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 6:17 p.m. Wednesday at 29 Proctor St. An officer reported a vehicle was egged with no suspects and no damage; at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday at Northshore Mall at 210N Andover St.

James Eastman, 33, of 90 Capen St., Apt. 1L, Dorchester, was arrested and charged with two counts of shoplifting by asportation second offense at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Complaints

A report of a raccoon in the area at 12:37 p.m. Wednesday at 6 Glen Road. An animal control officer reported removing the raccoon from a trash barrel.

A report of a stolen wallet at 1:33 p.m. Wednesday at 6 Tuttle St. A man reported his wallet was stolen that contained his firefighter badge. He stated that his neighbors told him that several vehicles on his street were broken into over the weekend.

A report of suspicious activity at 12:08 a.m. Thursday at Tedeschi’s at 386 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported a suspicious white van, possibly operated by a Spanish man with a thin build. The caller reported she was walking on Lincoln Avenue near Tedeschi’s when the van pulled up alongside her and the driver allegedly exposed himself to her.

Fire

A report of an outside fire at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday at T-Mobile at 371 Broadway. A caller reported a small mulch fire in the area. Engine 3 reported it was extinguished; at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday at Creation and Learning Station at 400 Central St. A caller reported an outside fire close to the building.


SWAMPSCOTT

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 7:09 a.m. Wednesday at Vinnin Mobil at 525 Paradise Road.

Complaints

A report of an item washed up on the beach at 10:14 a.m. Wednesday at Fish House at 431 Humphrey St. An officer reported a person showed him a bone that was on the beach.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday on Humphrey Street. A caller reported at the Lynn/Swampscott sign at the beach, a man with no shirt walking a golden retriever touched a young girl’s chest.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 4:54 p.m. Wednesday at 109 Banks Road. A resident reported a forged business check.
