A report of suspicious activity at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday at 8 Smith Road. A woman reported that on Monday, two men, both with tattoos came onto her property, and attempted to use a porta potty next to her home. She stated her husband got into a verbal altercation with the men who then left the area in a car before police were called; at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church at 105 Main St. A caller reported her car trailer was stolen from 105 Main St.; at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday at 233 Fairmount Ave. A caller reported his neighbor told him that two men stole his son’s black painted BMW bicycle out of his yard. The bicycle was recovered, and the suspects fled into Lynn before officers arrived.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 10:22 a.m. Tuesday at Home Depot Building Supply at 564 Broadway. Loss Prevention reported a man took merchandise from the store without paying. The man was summoned for shoplifting.
A burglary was reported at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday at MRP Site Development/Testa at 63 Salem Turnpike. A caller reported that over the past few nights, men have been entering the business and stealing copper, using bins and wheeling them to a minivan. He reported that he has camera with a live feed to his cellphone set up and could see the man who had been stealing the copper inside the building. He stated he could also see the man looking around, probably for additional copper. Police detained the man, using information from the caller’s live camera feed. William W. Sponagle was arrested for breaking and entering and larceny.

A caller reported one of the tires on his car was slashed at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Saugus Mobile Home Park at 846 Broadway.
