Richard Lavorante, 44, of 181 North Common St., was arrested and charged with nighttime breaking and entering for a felony at 3:23 a.m. Tuesday.

Tamika Wilson, 39, of 111 Washington St., was arrested on a warrant charge of trespassing at 7:34 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a disturbance at 9:34 p.m. Saturday at 22 Chatham Way; at 9:15 p.m. Sunday at 5 Sevinor Road. A caller reported he heard gunshots. Police reported he heard fireworks in the area.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:43 p.m. Monday on Roundhouse Road; at 4:51 p.m. Monday on Ocean Avenue.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 10:04 p.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue. A dog walker reported a gray Chrysler with people inside smoking marijuana.

A report of a disturbance at 10:15 p.m. Monday on Manataug Trail.

A report of a snapping turtle issue at 6:37 a.m. Tuesday on West Shore Drive. A caller reported a snapping turtle by the garden center that was in the middle of the road causing a hazard. It was later reported as being on the lawn of 150 West Shore Drive.

Fire

A report of a structure fire at 2:41 a.m. Tuesday on Hunsley Lane. A garage fire was reported. The house fire reportedly appeared to have originated in a motor vehicle in the garage.

Daniel Anthony Cabral, 34, of 158 Prescott Drive, Somerset, was arrested on a warrant at 9:17 p.m. Monday.

Jiordano Marinez, 28, of 190 Laureston St., Apt. 1, Brockton, was arrested and charged with special regulation speeding violation, failure to stop for a police officer while operating a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield and operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger at 11:42 p.m. Monday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury at 5:54 p.m. Monday at Kmart at 180 Main St.; at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at Santander Bank at 323 Broadway. A single-car accident into a pole was reported. One person was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

 

Complaints

A report of a suspicious person at 3:10 p.m. Monday at Saugus Deli at 508 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported an elderly man was lingering in the area and waving at people trying to get their attention. Police reported there was no one in the area matching that description.

A report of a disturbance at 12:29 a.m. Tuesday at Stocker Playground; at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday at Indian Rock Stables at 28 Walden Terrace. A caller reported a group of teenagers going in and out of the woods making noise and possibly drinking. Police reported no signs of a gathering.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny at 5:38 p.m. Monday at Best Buy/Square One Mall at 1201 Broadway. A caller reported she had the headlights of her vehicle stolen while she was at work. Police reported a foglight was taken from the vehicle.

A report of a larceny of a motor vehicle at 7:04 a.m. Tuesday at 13 Vincent St.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 8:49 a.m. Monday at 601 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported vandalism to her vehicle; at 9:09 a.m. Monday at Spuds Restaurant & Pub at 22 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported plants removed from the front of the building and dirt thrown everywhere.
