LYNN — David Michael Coan of Lynn passed away after succumbing to a long, hard-fought battle with addiction.
David was the beloved son of Donna Coan of Lynn, David Coan and his wife Crystal of Manchester, N.H. David was the loving brother of Janelle Coan of Swampscott and Daniel Coan of Lynn. He was also the stepbrother of Ashlyn and Trevor of Manchester, N.H. Above all David leaves behind the love of his life, his biggest supporter and angel, Brittany Mailloux of Lynn.
David graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute in 2005 and spent time as an electrical apprentice in the IBEW Local 103 in Boston. David possessed a big heart and a tremendous love for his family. He was a talented artist enjoying time drawing and anything related to cars. He was the proud and loving pet dad to his two cats, Stewart and Buddy.
Besides his immediate family, David leaves behind his grandparents, Stephen and Donna Upton of Seabrook, N.H.; his aunt and uncles, Tracey Odonnell of Stoneham, Todd Coan and Steven Coan of Cape Cod, his cousins, Brian and Katie Odonnell, and Steven Coan Jr. David was loved by many friends including Geza and Lori Illyes of Lynn. He was predeceased by his grandparents George and Sandra Coan of Lynn. His absence will be felt by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.
Service information: His funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
