LYNN — The woman who died after being struck by an inbound MBTA commuter rail train at the Lynn station on Friday has been identified by authorities.
Patricia McCabe, 48, of Lynn, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said foul play is not suspected. The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m.
In a statement, MBTA Transit Police said McCabe trespassed onto the tracks and was struck by the train about 100 yards south of the platform.
