LYNN — Paul Kenneth LaRoche, 63, of Lynn, died peacefully, Saturday, Dec 2 surrounded by his family at NMSC hospital in Salem.

He was born in Lewiston, Maine, March 25, 1953, the son of Lambert “Bullet” and Rose Kilby LaRoche. He attended Auburn schools.

He was mechanic most of his life and also enjoyed lobster fishing during many years on Bailey Island. Paul was good at many things but most of all he was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and friend. We will all miss his uniquely charismatic ways and tireless zest for life.

He is survived by his longtime partner and best friend, Deb’e Dingle of Lynn; daughters Angela and Kevin Boucher of Bath, Maine, and Carrie and Robert Gold of Lindenhurst, N.Y.; six grandsons, Travis and Sean Boucher of Dover, Del., Tyler Boucher of Brunswick, Maine, Dustin Boucher of Brunswick, Maine, Dylan Rose of New York, N.Y., and Adam and Kyle Gold of Lindenhurst, N.Y., two great-granddaughters, Allison Boucher and Nikki Boucher of Maine. He will also be much missed by his brothers and sisters, Linda Wilson, Steve and Louise LaRoche, David and Gloria LaRoche, Susan and Michael Mercier, Larry and Paula LaRoche, Brenda and Dan Johnson and Bradley and Derralyn, all of Maine, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and very close loyal friends, Jimmy Alexander of Harpswell, Maine, Jon Hartman of Revere and longtime business partner Ricky Sanberg, with whom he founded and operated American Truck Repair in Lynn.

Service information: A celebration of life For our buddy “Pauly” will be held this Sunday, Dec. 11, 4 p.m. at the Broad Sound Tuna Club in Revere.
