Barbara “Babbs” Ann Cefalo (Pappas), 77, was buried at Pine Grove Cemetery following a brief illness surrounded by her family and friends.
Born In Lynn, she was the daughter of Nick and Ada Pappas.
Barbara worked as an energy supervisor at the LEO building in Lynn helping low-income people with their heating before moving onto AT&T where she worked for more than 15 years and earned many awards for her great service until finally retiring from Lucent Technologies.
She leaves behind her three children, Vincent, Nick and Sherry; her sister, Katherine Soucy; brother, John Pappas, nephews, Bob and Brian Soucy, grandson, Thomas Mccormack of New Hampshire, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her partner of more than 30 years, Bill “Willy” Bochicchio.
She was a lover of life and a true friend to many and will be greatly missed.
