A caller reported she and her husband were residing at her sister-in-law’s home while visiting and noticed a strange man walk up the driveway, into her backyard and then turn around to walk back up the driveway. He was walking a black, smaller dog. On callback, the caller reported that her husband spoke with the man and stated he knows her sister-in-law.
A report of a man walking with mask on at 8:20 p.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue. A woman reported seeing a man in a khaki jacket wearing a skull mask. Police reported everything checked out, as the man was getting out of work.

A report of suspicious activity at 6:54 a.m. Friday at Agganis Construction at 56 Saugus Ave. A caller reported a possible hunter sitting in a tree stand on a telephone pole. Police reported the man was legally bow hunting, but was not wearing his orange safety vest. The Environmental Police were notified and were asked to contact the man; at 2:48 a.m. Saturday at 27 Evergreen St. A caller reported someone egged her house. She stated it was an ongoing problem and that she thought the suspects were still in the area; at 3:02 p.m. Saturday at Bed Bath and Beyond at 367 Broadway. A caller reported seeing a group of youths on the roof of the building as he passed; at 2:27 a.m. Sunday at 18 Morton Ave. A caller reported a white man, wearing a white sweatshirt, shorts, an earring and with dark, curly hair, was on her front porch attempting to get in the front door. The caller further reported the man had left her porch and was now at the house across the street. Police reported the man claimed he was robbed earlier that evening by two females. He was taken to Melrose Wakefield Hospital; at 10:44 p.m. Monday on Vincent Street. A Domino’s driver reported a man was waiting for the delivery and took it without paying.
A report of a confiscated weapon at 2:01 p.m. Friday at Red Roof Inn at 920 Broadway. A caller reported that during one of the regular cleanings of the rooms, one of the housekeepers found a firearm under the pillow. The firearm was brought to the police station and placed in safekeeping.
A report of an animal complaint at 4:36 p.m. Friday at 370 Essex St. A caller reported the man who resided across the street was shooting a BB gun at wild turkeys. Animal Control was contacted; at 3:28 p.m. Monday at 30 Guild Road. An officer reported that while in the area of Guild Road, people stated the coyote issue was becoming bad. The neighborhood was concerned because a dog was killed by a coyote a couple weeks ago and a coyote was seen the previous night on the street. Environmental Police were contacted.

Theft
A report of a larceny at 7:22 a.m. Friday at Enterprise Rent A Car at 141 Broadway. A manager reported three tires were stolen off a blue Nissan Altima; at 9:19 p.m. Sunday at IHOP at 114 Broadway. A woman reported cash and cards were stolen out of her purse that was left in the restaurant.
A report of an unarmed robbery at 5:01 p.m. Sunday at Toys R Us at 1201 Broadway. Mall Security reported a customer took a $100 bill out of an employee’s hand during a sales transaction and then fled. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 40 years old, and was wearing a gray winter jacket.

A report of vandalism at 9:31 a.m. Friday at Lowe’s at 1500 Broadway. A caller reported there was vandalism to one of the trailers at the business.
