LYNN

Arrests

Juan Hernandez, of 21 Columbia Ave., was arrested on warrant charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and miscellaneous equipment violation at 1:53 a.m. Wednesday.

Haydee Quezada, 27, of 38 Hanover St., was arrested and charged two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday.

Wilson Sirin, 29, of 41 Hamilton Ave., was arrested and charged with failure to stop for police, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, one way street violation, failure to stop/yield and alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday.

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run accident at 12:18 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday at Tedesco Street and Leggs Hill Road.

Complaints

A report of a grandparent scam at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday on Taft Street. A caller reported she received a call from someone claiming to be her grandson, telling her he was in an accident and had been crying because his friend died in the crash. She was very unnerved by the call, but thought to ask for the name of her grandson’s attorney. She stated the caller then hung up.

A report of an American flag turned upside down at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday on Brimblecomb Avenue. A caller reported someone on Intervale Road had the American flag turned upside down. He felt it was because they were protesting the election results, but added that it is a distress signal and felt someone should go and check on them. An officer reported the house was actually on Brimblecomb, but no one was home.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 8 a.m. Tuesday on Beverly Avenue. A 74-year-old female reportedly accidentally took three doses of her medication. She was taken to Salem Hospital.


PEABODY

Arrests

Jesse M. Fournier, 34, of 100 Kirkbride Drive, Danvers, was arrested on a warrant at 11:04 a.m. Wednesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at 2 Walnut St. and 3 Central St.; at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday at 124 Foster St. and 163 Washington St.; at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday at 174 Andover St. and 2 Cross St.; at 7:18 a.m. Wednesday at 63 Central St. and 2 Tremont St.; at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday at 57 Franklin St.; at 8:16 a.m. Wednesday on Hilltop Drive; at 10:58 a.m. Wednesday at 326 Lowell St. and 2 Summit St. One person was taken to Lahey Hospital after a three car accident.

A report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday at 125 Main St. At least one person was taken to Salem Hospital.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 6:06 p.m. Tuesday at South Peabody Mini Mart at 272 Lynn St. A motorist reported a man in black walking in the street.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 10:43 p.m. Tuesday on Magnolia Way. A possible overdose of ativan was reported and one person was taken to Beverly Hospital.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. A caller reported her house was vandalized and several BB holes were noticed on the rear of the residence; at 7:11 a.m. Wednesday at 294 Lynn St. A caller reported a possible bullet hole in her window. An officer reported it was a BB hole and there was no damage other than to the outer glass.

Arrests

James T. Brennan, 30, of 72 Thornton St., Apt. 1, was arrested and charged with shoplifting at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 5:06 p.m. Tuesday at 6 Johnson St.

Complaints

A report of a disturbance at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday at Red Roof Inn at 920 Broadway.

A report of suspicious activity at 1:33 a.m. Wednesday at Tedeschi’s at 386 Lincoln Ave. A woman at the store reported she thought it was going to be robbed. She stated a man left the store in a hurry when an employee saw him in the back. An officer reported no crime had taken place; at 7:28 a.m. Wednesday at Citizens Bank at 180 Main St. A caller reported a suspicious package in the ATM area. It was a silver package with writing on it and a wire coming out of it. Police reported it was a styrofoam Christmas ornament.
