LYNN

Arrests

Curtis Babine Sr., of 1 Brightwood Terrace, was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, attempt to commit a crime, threat to commit a crime and disorderly conduct at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday.

Ludmila Bakanova, 34, of 16 Newhall St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and indecent exposure at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Barry Duane, 61, of 25 Hamilton Ave., was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, threat to commit a crime and on warrants at 11:27 a.m. Wednesday.

Timothy Taylor, 18, of 7 Rantoul Ave., was arrested and charged with unarmed robbery at 6:56 p.m. Tuesday.

Justin Widtfeldt, 20, of 228 Reservoir Ave., Revere, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A drug at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at State and Washington streets; at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday at State and Front streets.

Fire

A report of a small trash fire at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday on Goldthwait Road. A caller reported a fire in the building with smoke showing. The fire department reported a trash fire caused by careless disposal of smoking items thrown into the basket with newspaper. The fire was mostly extinguished by a neighbor.


PEABODY

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday at 82 Prospect St. and 230 Andover St. A motorcycle vs. a car accident was reported. A woman was taken to Salem Hospital; at 3:12 p.m. Tuesday at Tannery Gardens at 111 Foster St. The driver was cited for marked lanes violation and failure to use care; at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday at DXL Apparel at 242 Andover St.; at 12:48 p.m. Wednesday at Starbucks at 240 Andover St.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury at 8:48 a.m. Wednesday at East Boston Savings Bank at 67 Prospect St. The driver was taken to Salem Hospital.

Complaints

A report of a disturbance at 4 p.m. Tuesday at JC Penney at 210J Andover St.; at 7:24 p.m. Tuesday at The Cheesecake Factory at 210C Andover St.; at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday at 59 Fairview Ave. A caller reported a man stole $20 worth of marijuana and smashed her cell phone. Joseph Britt, 18, of 27 Princeton St., was summoned for malicious destruction of property; at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday at 2 Aborn St.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday at 15 Central St. Police reported two men walking to and from a payphone making short calls and looking around nervously, pacing back and forth. Police said it appeared they were waiting for someone. They were characterized by police as known heroin users, and one of the men is an alleged drug dealer.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 8:53 p.m. Tuesday on Central Street. One person was taken to Salem Hospital. Daniel Luz, 38, of 11 Tanners Court, was summoned for possession with intent to distribute a Class C drug; at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at Pulaski Street and Buxton Lane. An out of control vehicle was reported. The man was taken to Lahey Hospital.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 5:33 p.m. Tuesday at Apple Store at 210A Andover St. Mall security reported a past theft of $200 headphones.

A report of a stolen motor vehicle at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday at Outback Steakhouse at 300 Andover St.  


REVERE

Arrests

Kathryn Marie Barker, 35, of 71 Curwin Circle, Lynn, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday.

Raymundo Henriquez, 33, of 260 Cushman Ave., was arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday.

Abriana Christina Nieves, 26, of 260 Cushman Ave., was arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking and on a warrant at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 5:21 a.m. Tuesday on Walden Street; at 6:28 a.m. Tuesday on Copeland Circle; at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on Revere Beach Parkway; at 8:47 a.m. Tuesday on Orr Square; at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday on Copeland Circle.

A report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian at 1:41 p.m. Tuesday on Brown Circle.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury at 1:31 p.m. Tuesday at 73 Chestnut St.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday at 32 Hanson Road and 2 Bisbee Road.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at 2104 Founders Way. A woman reported numerous items of jewelry missing from her apartment. She stated she last saw the items in her jewelry cabinet in April. There was never any sign of a break in the apartment, but she stated maintenance personnel had been in and out over the past year; at 7:46 p.m. Tuesday at Lincoln House/Bridgewell at 47 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported money was taken from him without his knowledge.


SWAMPSCOTT

Arrest

Voloshanskyy Volodymyr, 52, of 150 Washington St., Apt. 5, Marblehead, was arrested and charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor at 10:17 p.m. Monday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9:32 p.m. Monday at 531 Humphrey St.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at 413 Paradise Road.
