LYNN — Monique M. Johnson Upham, 25, of Lynn, passed away on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. She was born in Salem on Aug. 21, 1991 to Kim Upham and the late Elijah Johnson. She graduated from Peabody High School and went on to attend North Shore Community College. She was employed as a waitress for Legal Seafood and the Cheesecake Factory. Monique enjoyed cooking, dancing and eating her Nana’s food. She loved being silly and babysitting other people’s children. She was petite but full of spunk. She is survived by her sisters, Nikiya Eaton and Jade Johnson of Peabody; her brothers the late Kevin Eaton, the late Marvin Satterwhite, Elijah Johnson III, Isaiah Blaise and Dalvyn Green all of Lynn; her grandparents Joseph Upham, the late Frances Upham of Florida, the late Elijah Johnson and Ella Johnson of Lynn; her aunts Crystal Anderson, Kellie Upham, Joyce Johnson, Calvena Johnson, India Johnson and Melinda Johnson all of Lynn; her uncles Edward Anderson, George Johnson of Lynn, Nick Upham, Lance Upham of Maine and Calvin Johnson of Lynn; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.
Service information: Visitation will be held at the Mount Olive Church of God in Christ, 20 Johnson St., on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Home-going services will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
